The inventor's practical guide

Protection phase
In the following chapter, I will outline the steps to take to protect, develop, and commercialize an invention idea through Inventarium. Between the initial stroke of genius and the commercialization of the finished product, there are a number of steps to follow. Whenever possible, these steps should be taken in a logical order; otherwise, you risk encountering unpleasant surprises. In this chapter, I will explain each of these steps and their importance.
If you believe you have a good invention idea, you must take care to protect it properly with a provisional patent before disclosing it publicly. But before filing this patent, you must first go through three preliminary steps: obtaining the patent application kit, evaluating the invention idea, and searching for prior patents.
At the Inventarium, the first step is to obtain the file opening kit, the main document of which is the confidential disclosure form. This eight-page form includes a confidentiality agreement signed by an authorized Inventarium agent.
